    Odysseus Data Services (https://odysseusinc.com/) - is a fast-growing US-based company focused on the creation of a single platform that will combine medical history data from clinics all over the world.  Our goal is to provide a vast information base to be used by scientific researchers, medical centers, and institutes, as well as the pharmaceutical industry and insurance companies.

    Odysseus Data Services is an active member of the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (or OHDSI, pronounced "Odyssey") consortium (https://www.ohdsi.org/), whose main mission is to improve healthcare systems around the world by collecting and organizing data on the treatment of various diseases and then combining this data into a single, standardized, universally-accessible knowledge base to bring out the value of health data through large-scale analytics.

     Odysseus has an exciting opening for a Marketing Lead and promotions manager. Odysseus is looking for a self-driven individual who can hit the ground running, a quick learner, and wants to be a part of our dynamic global team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with the company’s business objectives and target audience
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, social media, events, etc.). 
    • Email campaigns
    • Marketing materials: design, production, shipment
    • Posters, presentations, etc.
  • Manage Odysseus' social networks (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Lead internal communications marketing (i.e. Workplace) - communicating and promoting a company's values, culture, and goals to our employees. 
    • Provide regular updates (achievements, new hires, etc.)
    • Celebrate successes
    • Encourage feedback and two-way communication
  • Supervise company website (i.e. blog) and company profiles on external sites (i.e. EHDEN, OHDSI, etc.)
  • Create and curate content for various marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, social media posts, and whitepapers
  • Manage relationships with external vendors such as graphic designers, copywriters, and event planners
  • Collaborate with teams to collect materials for publications and constantly learn our business to understand and suggest what to highlight
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Work with the sales team to develop sales enablement materials such as product sheets, case studies, and presentations
  • Potentially manage profiles at the technology partner (Google, Amazon, Microsoft)
  • Maintain internal guidelines/knowledge base on our marketing tools, communications guidelines, etc.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and social media marketing best practices
  • Familiarity with newsletter tools and simple markup
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in B2B technology
  • Experience with setting up a marketing strategy for a B2B brand
  • Synchronizing communication channels on multiple platforms and time zones
