    Today Odysseus Data Services is an active member of the Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (or OHDSI, pronounced "Odyssey") consortium (https://www.ohdsi.org/), whose main mission is to improve healthcare systems around the world by collecting and organizing data on the treatment of various diseases and then combining this data into a single, standardized, universally-accessible knowledge base to bring out the value of health data through large-scale analytics. 


     Odysseus Data Services (Odysseus) has an exciting opening for an ​Sr. Project Manager. Odysseus is looking for a self-driven individual who can hit the ground running, quick learner and wants to be a part of our dynamic global team.

Responsibilities

Lead various types of projects (Software Engineering, ETL, Ontology Curation and Data Science) in a Project Management role.

  • Follow organizational Project Management processes, participate in PMO.
  • Interact with clients to understand their business need and deliver project charter, scope and plan to the development teams.
  • Work with project technical lead to create a detailed backlog and pro-actively manage a project plan.
  • Organize teams and lead daily or semi-weekly stand up calls with the team.
  • Deliver successful projects while meeting the budget and time project requirements.
  • Manage JIRA boards and timesheets to ensure the team is on spec, on time and on budget. Report project status in weekly RAG calls.
  • Manage client expectations and conduct showcases and UATs when appropriate
  • Be the catalyst of the team focused on building the Real-World Evidence solutions to provide leading-edge clinical and commercial insights to the life sciences organizations with the goal of transforming treatment research and improving outcomes for patients

Required Skills

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in IT/Informatics or related degree, Masters Degree Preferred
  • Knowledge of English at C2 level (spoken and written)
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and Project Management
  • PMI certification or similar is strongly recommended
  • Experience in Healthcare and Pharma is a big plus

Required Experience

  • Project management: 5 years (Required)
  • Health information management: 1 year (Preferred)
